SignalFin is a technology product that depends on a number of third-party services and data providers. We list them here so you know exactly who we work with, what they do for us, and where to learn more.
This page is not exhaustive, and specific providers within a category may be added, removed, or swapped over time as we tune reliability, quality, and cost. Material changes affecting how personal data is processed are reflected in our Privacy Policy.
Brokerage connections
SnapTrade
snaptrade.comRead-only brokerage connections and account-data synchronization for all supported brokerages (Robinhood, Fidelity, Charles Schwab, E*TRADE, Webull, Interactive Brokers, Tradier, and Alpaca). Provides SignalFin with masked account metadata, positions, cost basis, balances, and historical transactions. SignalFin does not receive brokerage credentials and is not authorized to place trades.
Market data
Finnhub
finnhub.ioReal-time and historical equity quotes, fundamentals, corporate actions, analyst estimates, and news used across research pages, watchlists, and alerts. Listed as one of the providers we use; specific routing between providers may change over time.
Polygon.io
polygon.ioSupplemental market data, including tick-level and aggregate pricing used in movers and day-trading scanners. Listed as one of the providers we use; specific routing between providers may change over time.
Alpaca Market Data
alpaca.marketsSupplemental market data feed for equities and options. Also a supported brokerage via SnapTrade. Listed as one of the providers we use; specific routing between providers may change over time.
Filings
SEC EDGAR
www.sec.gov/edgarCompany filings (10-K, 10-Q, 8-K, proxy statements, insider transactions) sourced directly from the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission. EDGAR data is in the public domain; SignalFin surfaces it through an inline reader.
News
News and sentiment providers
Aggregated financial news and sentiment signals sourced from licensed news APIs. Specific providers may be added or removed; current partners are disclosed here when finalized.
AI models
OpenAI / Anthropic
openai.comLarge-language-model inference for AI-generated company summaries, catalyst detection, and other AI insights. Prompts and outputs are processed per each provider’s API terms; we do not send brokerage credentials or personally identifying information to LLM providers as part of standard feature usage.
Infrastructure
Supabase
supabase.comManaged Postgres database, authentication, and row-level security. Stores waitlist entries, user accounts, watchlists, trade journal entries, and other application data.
Vercel
vercel.comHosting, edge delivery, and serverless API execution for the marketing site and application.
Payments
Stripe
stripe.comBilling and subscription management for paid plans at or after launch. Card data is processed by Stripe and never touches SignalFin infrastructure.
Observability
Sentry
sentry.ioError monitoring and performance tracking in production. Captures stack traces and minimal request context; configured to redact known sensitive fields.
Transactional email
Klaviyo
klaviyo.comWaitlist notifications, product-update emails, and transactional notifications. Email content and addresses are stored by Klaviyo under their data protection terms.
Read-only brokerage posture
SignalFin’s integration with every supported brokerage is exclusively read-only, routed through SnapTrade. SignalFin does not hold trading permissions, does not receive brokerage credentials, and cannot place, modify, or cancel trades. See our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy for more detail.
